Learning Opportunity

Zach always takes our car drives very seriously. Any time he and I are running around town, this is his prime time to "pick my brain" for facts and to share with me what facts he knows. Today, he was talking about what countries we are "friendly" with.

He caught my attention when he said, "We probably signed a peace treaty with them..." and I thought, WOW! My kid is really learning some neat things at school.

"Do you know where I learned that?" he asked me, clearly seeing that I was impressed.

"Where?" I asked, hoping he would tell me all about the day's history lesson.

"I saw it on Tom and Jerry," he replied.

Not the answer I expected, but impressive none-the-less.
