This year since Gary had to work on Christmas, we celebrated as a family a few days early. It was a very fun Christmas. On Christmas day, some of my family came and joined us for lunch and Gary was even able to make a brief appearance shortly before they all left.

His big present from "Christmas Morning" which actually occurred on Wednesday at around 3pm. We actually had him go up to his room and pretend to sleep and then we pretended to wake him up to see everything. We are goofy, but we do like our traditions. Traditions are good, but having Daddy home is better, so you do the best you can.
We had a really relaxing, fun Christmas break. Even though Gary didn't get Christmas Day off, we had several days with him at home before that made up for it.
