Preschool Easter Egg Hunt

" Ready....Set....Go!!!!"

Today was the big Easter egg hunt for Zach's preschool. Instead of trying to have it in a confined place at the school, it was held in the nearby backyard of one of the preschoolers. It was really fun for the kids to be able to play and run around. They hunted eggs, feasted on pizza, and then hit a piñata. Although each kid was supposed to get twelve eggs, some of the plastic eggs had busted open and were empty and a few others were confetti eggs that had been broken during the chaos. Zach ended up with ten eggs, and some of his friends had even less.

"What? No candy inside?"

All in all, it was a really great time and it was interesting for me to watch him hunt for eggs with a little competition. (Being an only child has its perks, sometimes!)

Zach is very excited because his Meme (Gary's mom) is coming tomorrow for a long weekend visit. He can't wait to play with her and show her all of his soccer moves!
