Yesterday was a fun day for us. We went out to the ranch to see Gary's dad and his wife, Gary's sister and our nephew. We rode around on the four-wheelers, threw some fish food out in the tank (the fish were not biting, so we didn't get to fish), and the boys did whatever it is that guys do in the country. It was fun to get my nephew and Zach together. Since they are only two years apart, I hope that they will be close as they grow up.
We also were able to meet Gary's grandmother and great-aunt for dinner. It was good to see them as well! They are both very neat ladies.
As of sixteen minutes ago, Gary is on call until 8pm Sunday. The good news is that he doesn't have to do this long weekend call very often, but the bad news is that when he is on call like this we don't usually get to see him much. Tomorrow is Zach's first soccer game of the season (Gary is going to try to be there). I will post some soccer pics sometime in the near future. He is very excited about this soccer season because he is determined to score a goal. He is definitely getting better, and as long as he still enjoys soccer, we will continue with it. I am glad to see him so interested in something, and it really suits his personality.
