Happy Halloween!

There are some major differences between celebrating Halloween in preschool and kindergarten. One of the biggest is that you cannot wear a costume to school. The second is that there cannot be any "party". The third is that due to our lovely state's imposing rules, there can be nothing remotely candy-like handed out. So, here is Zach in his Halloween T-shirt making his Halloween craft during center time.

We have started a tradition with our friends of gathering all of our children up on Halloween night and then taking them around in the back of a pickup truck around the neighborhood. This is fun for all involved and somewhat more safe. Since it was a Wednesday night, we started the night off with gathering for a short devotional and then we headed out to trick-or-treat.
